Can you briefly introduce your company and your role?
YY Vertical is a brand that specializes in climbing products. Our mission is to provide smart solutions to improve practice.
I am in charge of marketplaces, I manage the development of the brand on these platforms, optimizing our presence and our commercial performance.
What were your main challenges on marketplaces?
Before working with Sellingz, my main challenge on marketplaces was the lack of people with whom to discuss best practices. The problem with marketplaces is that you quickly find yourself isolated within your company.
It’s a very specific environment, with its own rules, algorithms, and business logics. There is not necessarily an internal equivalent to share the problems encountered. In addition, the resources available online are often too general or unsuitable for our specific case.
What were the negative impacts for you and the brand?
These issues had a very strong impact on my day-to-day activity:
- First, there was always doubt about making the right strategic choices, due to the lack of exchanges with experts to validate the decisions.
- Then, we tested several software programs without any real certainty about their effectiveness, which represented a waste of time and a significant cost.
- This also led to a delay in the implementation of strategies. Due to a lack of insight and feedback, some decisions took too long to be implemented.
- Finally, we tended to focus on details when the foundations were not yet completely solid. This limited the overall impact of our actions.
What actions has Sellingz put in place to solve these challenges?

How long did it take for you to see improvements?
Within a few months, I saw significant improvements. The biggest impact was the decision to implement an ad management tool on Amazon, tailored to my situation. This allowed us to automate a lot of the manual processing.
This not only saved us valuable time, but more importantly, the results in terms of profitability were significantly better. This optimization has changed the way we manage our campaigns. We can focus on strategy rather than operations.
